Frederick Hale McDuff American impressionist, 1931-2011. This original oil on canvas measures 8" X 10" and is framed at 16 5/8" X 16 5/8". The label verso idicates original frame as it bears the name Venable Neslage Galleries. Mr. McDuff was Mr. Neslage business partner at this gallery from the early 60's through the 70's. Though untitled, Figures on a beach with green bench, I believe is an accurate moniker . I do believe this painting would benifit from a cleaning and fresh varnish, otherwise good condition.
